Issue Descriptions
When using camera drones, the gimbal has visible abnormal shaking (or unusual noise).
Solutions
If your drone has experienced a fall, collision, or other damage due to external force, we recommend sending the drone back for testing. Please click here to submit a repair request online.
1. Before powering on, please perform the following operations:
① Remove the gimbal protector, the gimbal clamp, vibration-absorbing foam pads or any other items that may interfere with the gimbal motor function, avoiding affecting the gimbal performance.
② Check if any rubber damper is broken. If it is, please send the drone back for testing. Please click here to submit a repair request online.
③ Check if any propeller is misshapen or broken. If it is, please replace with good propellers before taking off.
2. Please check if the drone is in S-mode (Sport). If the drone is in S-mode and the user is fully pushing the control stick, there could easily be a shaky issue for the gimbal. We recommend handling the control sticks more gently to avoid such sudden operations.
If you want to achieve a more stable image, please switch the flight mode to N-mode (Normal) or C-mode (Cine).

3. Please check if there is strong wind in the environment. Strong wind may cause the drone body to shake, resulting in shaky image transmission. We suggest testing again in a windless or light wind environment. (The wind speed can be acquired from local weather forecasts. If the wind is too strong, the app will also prompt a strong wind alert.)
4. Please reset EXP values of the drone and perform gimbal calibration in the app (for DJI Avata Series and DJI FPV, please use Goggles for calibration).
What are EXP values?
EXP values represent the feel of operating a drone, and adjusting EXP values can yield different ratios of the physical stick movement of a remote controller to the actual gained stick movement of a drone under control. With the same input of physical stick movement, the larger an EXP value, the faster the drone flies.
How can I reset EXP values?
DJI Fly: tap the System Settings icon “···”at the top right corner of camera view > Control > Gain & Expo Tuning > Reset Current Settings
DJI GO 4: tap the System Settings icon“···”at the top right corner of camera view > Main Controller Settings (the drone icon) > Advanced Settings > Reset Gain & Expo Tuning
How can I perform gimbal calibration?

5. Please check if the gimbal shaky issue occurs in Timelapse. If it is, we recommend providing exported photos or videos which are abnormal, and contacting DJI Support for assistance.
