Cause of Issue
There is an IMU data error.
Solution
Go through the steps below for an IMU calibration.
Pre-Calibration Preparations
1. Download and install the correct app on the mobile device, power on the aircraft, and link it to the remote controller.
2. Make sure that the battery level is at least 50%.
3. Fold the arms (for Mavic series drones), and place the aircraft in a level and dry surface.
* Each step of IMU calibration requires placing the aircraft to different directions, and the aircraft must be placed based on the app on-screen instructions. Failure to follow the instructions may result in calibration failure.
Calibrating the IMU
For DJI Neo 2, DJI Mavic 4 Pro, DJI Flip, DJI Air Series, DJI Neo, DJI Mini Series, DJI Mavic 3 Series:
Enter the flight interface in DJI Fly, tap “···” > “Safety” > “Sensor” > “IMU” > “Calibration”, tap “Calibration”, and follow the on-screen instructions to properly place the aircraft.

The steps below use DJI Mini 3 Pro as an example.

For DJI FPV and DJI Avata Series users:
Goggles are required when performing an IMU calibration on DJI FPV and DJI Avata. Power on the goggles, go to "Setting" > “Safety” > “Aircraft IMU Calibration”, tap “Start”, and follow the on-screen prompts.
For Mavic 2 Series, Phantom 4 Series, and Spark users:
Enter the flight interface in DJI GO 4, go to “···” > “Main Controller Settings” > “Advanced Settings” > “Sensors” > “IMU” > “Calibrate IMU”, and follow the on-screen instructions to properly place the aircraft.

In the event of an IMU calibration failure, restart the aircraft and go through the steps above. If this issue remains, send your drone back to DJI for testing, and click here to submit a repair request.
