Scenario 1: The gimbal is impacted by external forces.
Possible Cause of Issue
After the gimbal is impacted by an external force, the force will be transmitted to the IMU inside the gimbal, leading to an error with the built-in IMU data and causing the gimbal to rotate abnormally.
Solution
Protect the gimbal from any shock or impact.
Scenario 2: The gimbal’s grip is not firmly held, thus causing the pan axis to rotate erratically.
Possible Cause of Issue
The gimbal base (gimbal grip) needs to be in a "fixed position" for the gimbal to stabilize properly. Otherwise, the pan motor will keep spinning uncontrollably.
Solution
Make sure to hold the gimbal’s grip or place the gimbal on the ground using a tripod to avoid holding the axis arm of the gimbal while powering it on.
Scenario 3:The gimbal attitude is beyond the endpoint range.
Possible Cause of Issue
When the gimbal attitude approaches/exceeds the endpoint range, it will leave the support range of the gimbal stabilization algorithm, then the gimbal will try to return to be within the endpoint range, and start rotating erratically.
Solutions
1. Do not exceed the gimbal’s endpoint range during operation.
2. Appropriately increase the gimbal’s follow speed (tilt/roll/pan axis) to avoid exceeding the gimbal’s endpoint range due to an excessively slow follow speed.
3. Use FPV mode for shooting.
