Issue Description

The DJI Fly app prompts “Gimbal stuck (Error Code: 40002)”.

 

Possible Causes of Issue

1. The aircraft is powered on when the aircraft arms are folded or the gimbal protector is not removed.

2. The gimbal is stuck by foreign matter.

 

Solutions

If a microSD card is installed in the aircraft, please remove the microSD card first, and then follow the steps below.

1. Make sure that the gimbal protector is removed, and the aircraft arms are unfolded before powering on the aircraft.

2. Check whether there are debris around the gimbal: Power off the aircraft, and gently turn the gimbal and camera to each angle with hand.

  · If there are any debris, please clean off it, and then restart the aircraft.

  · If there are no debris found, restart the aircraft, and then perform gimbal calibration in the app. Check whether the gimbal returns to normal after calibration is completed. For more details, refer to Aircraft Gimbal Calibration Guide.
