Issue Description
The video footage is shaking or vibrating.
Possible Cause of Issue: Gimbal Damaged
If the gimbal is damaged, stuck by debris or misshapen, the stabilization provided by the gimbal will decrease, and the jitter of the camera is obvious enough to be seen by naked eyes.
Solutions
1. Check whether there are debris or dust on the gimbal. If yes, please wipe them off.
2. Check whether the gimbal is obviously broken or misshapen.
3. Check the vibration of the aircraft to confirm whether the rubber damper is aging. If yes (the rubber damper has no elasticity or is cracked), please replace the rubber damper.
4. If the rubber damper is not aging, please adjust the installation position of the gimbal back and forth, or adjust the position of the rubber damper to ensure that the gimbal and rubber dampers are installed properly.
5. In DJI Fly or DJI GO 4, tap “Gimbal Calibration”.
Calibrating the gimbal by using DJI Fly:
Place the drone on the horizontal ground, connect the drone, remote controller and mobile device, and enter the camera view of DJI Fly. Tap the "···” icon at the upper right corner to enter System Settings, tap “Control”, “Gimbal Calibration”, and “Auto Calibration”.
Calibrating the gimbal by using DJI GO 4:
Place the drone on the horizontal ground, connect the drone, remote controller and mobile device, and enter the camera view of DJI GO 4. Tap the "...” icon at the upper right corner to enter General Settings, tap “Gimbal Settings”, and “Gimbal Auto Calibration”.
If the issue cannot be resolved through the above solution, please send back the product for diagnosis and submit an Online Repair Request.
Possible Causes of Issue: Environment Interference
The aircraft shakes violently and gimbal stabilization is affected when the wind is too strong, resulting in shaking of the image.
Solution
Please confirm the wind speed before taking off the drone. If the wind speed is too strong (greater than 12 m/s), it is recommended to change the operating environment or wait for the wind speed to be reduced before taking off.
* To determine the ambient wind speed, you can observe the surrounding objects. If the branches shake, the electric wires make whirring sounds or it is difficult to walk with an umbrella, the wind speed at this time exceeds the maximum wind resistance speed of the drone, so it is recommended not to take off your drone.
Possible Causes of Issue: Severe Cold Environment
When the aircraft flies in a severe cold environment (below-10°C), the gimbal stabilization is reduced and the flexibility of the aircraft is decreased, so there is an obvious jitter.
Solution
Please confirm the ambient temperature before taking of the drone. If the operating temperature is lower than -10°C, it is recommended not to take off the drone, avoiding affecting the stability of images and flight safety.
Possible Causes of Issue: Aircraft’s Attitude Too Large (e.g. In Sport Mode, Fully Pushing Roll Stick)
If the aircraft’s attitude is too large (in the Sport mode or due to fully pushing the roll stick), the gimbal may be affected by wind strength as the vibration of the drone may increase due to aerodynamic reasons, and this can lead to a noticeable dynamic deformation in the video.
Solution
Please reduce the control stick input during flight to obtain higher shooting quality.
Possible Causes of Issue: Drone Damaged
When the aircraft is impacted by external force, the aircraft arms, motors, or propellers may be malfunctioning, which makes the aircraft unable to fly stably and the image to shake violently.
Solution
Please check whether the aircraft is impacted by external force and whether the aircraft arms, motors, or propellers are broken.
If the aircraft is impacted by external force, for your flight safety, please send the product back for diagnosis, and submit an Online Repair Request.
