Cause of Issue
1. The mobile phone model is incompatible.
2. The mobile phone is not attached properly.
Solution
1. Confirm that the weight, thickness, and dimensions of the phone are within the support range.
Applicable mobile phone weight: 230 ± 60 g
Applicable mobile phone thickness: 6.9-10 mm
Applicable mobile phone width: 67-84 mm
2. Check if the mobile phone model is within the compatibility list, please use the mobile phone in the compatibility list to achieve a stable experience. Please click to check the compatibility list below:

3. Use the magnetic phone clamp correctly: Make sure that the phone clamp is in the middle of the phone, and then attach the magnetic phone clamp correctly to the gimbal.
Ensure that the magnetic phone clamp is in the middle of the mobile phone (via visual inspection).

Ensure that there is no gap between the mobile phone and the magnetic phone clamp and that the magnetic phone clamp properly secures the mobile phone.
Ensure that the white marks on the phone clamp and the gimbal are aligned.

Tips
① Remove the phone case and try again.
② If the mobile device is small or thin (e.g. iPhone 8, Nova 8, or Oppo Reno 5 Pro) or the mobile phone edge is arced, use the provided riser pad, as shown below;

③ If a “Motor Protected. Press Trigger Twice to Resume” warning is shown, it indicates that the motor enters self-protection status. After the above steps have been checked, please press the Trigger twice, and the issue can be resolved.
④ If the DJI OM Magnetic Ring Holder (the accessory of DJI OM 4) is being used, it is not recommended to use it with other Osmo Mobile series products that is recommended to be used with the magnetic phone clamp for a secure connection.

Osmo Pocket Series
Scenario 1: Shaking Occurs in Special Usage/Scenario
Affected Models: Osmo Pocket 4 Series, Osmo Pocket 3, DJI Pocket 2, Osmo Pocket
Cause of Issue
1. The gimbal movement reaches the limit.
2. The gimbal motor is overloaded.
3. There are debris on the gimbal.
4. The gimbal motor is damaged.
Solution
1. The gimbal is not designed for 360 degrees rotation, and comes with certain mechanical limit. Please use the device within the limit range. For more details about mechanical range, please refer to: Handheld Series Product Technical Specifications.
2. If a “Gimbal Motor Overloaded” warning is shown, please calibrate the gimbal and try again. To learn details about gimbal calibration, please see below:

3. Power off the gimbal and check if there are any debris on the gimbal axis arm. If yes, clean off them.
4. If your gimbal is collided or dropped, it is recommended that you submit an Online Repair Request and send the product back for diagnosis.
Scenario 2: Indoor and Outdoor "Low Light/Dim" Shaking Occurs
Affected Models: Osmo Pocket 4 Series, Osmo Pocket 3
Cause of Issue
Camera Parameters: The camera system is usually set to AUTO mode, where the AUTO mode exposure strategy prioritizes ensuring sufficient image brightness. Therefore, the shutter speed will be slowed down as much as possible to ensure adequate brightness.
*The slower the shutter speed, the more likely the image will display ghosting and blurring.
Solution
1. Keep the camera as stable as possible during handheld shooting to avoid large and high-frequency movements.
2. Increase ambient brightness as much as possible to avoid slow shutter speed caused by camera exposure strategy.
3. Switch to "Low-Light Video" mode (operation path: tap the bottom-left of the device screen > Shooting Mode > Low-Light Video);
4. Set "Exposure" to M mode and adjust according to the parameters below:
1) ISO: The higher the value/range, the better. For example: 50 ~ 6400;
2) Shutter Speed: The faster, the better, for example: 1/200, 1/400, 1/500, etc.
5. If you have performed the preceding steps but are still unable to reduce or improve image shake, please refer to the Gimbal Calibration Operation Guide for handheld series products and perform gimbal calibration.
Scenario 3: Shaking Occurs in the Vertical Direction/Z Axis
Affected Models: Osmo Pocket 4 Series, Osmo Pocket 3
Cause of Issue
Osmo Pocket 4P, Osmo Pocket 4, and Osmo Pocket 3 only support 3-axis stabilization. Vertical/Z-axis stabilization is not supported.
Solution
It is recommended to tilt the handle slightly forward when shooting handheld. The tilt axis motor can be used to improve Z-axis/vertical direction jitter.
