Issue Descriptions
A “Gimbal motor overloaded” warning appears in the app during the flight.
Possible Cause of Issue
1. The gimbal protector or the buckle has not been removed, the protection sticker on the gimbal axis arm has not been removed, or the gimbal is stuck by debris.
2. The gimbal and camera are mounted with a third-party accessory, such as a filter or a wide-angle lens.
3. Sport mode moves the control stick dramatically and exceeds the gimbal’s adjustment limit.
4. There is an error with the gimbal hardware.
Solutions
1. Before using the aircraft, please remove the gimbal protector/gimbal buckle and the protection sticker and unfold the aircraft arms. Then place the aircraft on a flat surface and check whether any foreign objects obstruct the gimbal and camera.
2. If a third-party accessory is installed, such as a filter or a wide-angle lens, remove it and check whether the warning still appears.
3. If this warning appears in the app when the aircraft is in Sport (S) mode, try to push the control stick gently, and the app warning will disappear automatically.
If the issue persists after the above solutions have been tried, please send the aircraft back to DJI for diagnosis. Click to submit an Online Repair Request.
